How did your paint hold up? I have a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness that I got because these were sold out everywhere when I was looking last year. I regret it. Also, the paint on my Subaru is pretty lousy. It chips and is very prone to etching (staining) by everything, even a couple days after giving it two coats of wax. The interior is a rattle box, the upgraded Harmon Kardon audio ($2250 option) rattles and vibrates and sounds like crap. I am at 9 months and eying at seeing how to get out of this 3 year lease.

A little more ground clearance would be appreciated. I know it is a unibody but 9 inches of clearance could make it better.

Honda! Why did you not give your Trailsport trims a 3 inch factory lift. Like Subaru does with their Wilderness models. What a missed opportunity. Yes, I know these are not for serious off roading, but more ground clearance is useful vs this minivan height! 😡

Love this channel. i buy a new/used car every 7 years. it is June 2024 - And will be purchasing this exact make model/year/trim vehicle. test drove it yesterday and loved it. but it was late at night so couldn’t do the purchase. gonna buy today! Also I always watch this channel for new and used car reviews. S Haymart is an excellent speaker and reviewer. this channel should be blowing up already but not sure why it’s not. Anyhow- Great review and thumbs up 👍🏻

In all fairness, it does come with a skid plate to protect the oil pan. Not enough to justify the trim pricing though.

Honda has gone crazy on pricing on R/L. Why the emphasis on offroad when 95% never leave the pavement and all the added "features" do nothing for normal driving except run up the prices? The tires are totally detrimental to normal highway driving. Making it look more "trucky" has done nothing but raise the price from $30s to mid to high $40s......terrible. Push button gear selector is really stupid on any vehicle, especially a truck. Please give a comparison of base model, which is a much better value.

I have one,my gripes are my mileage is only 30-32,the seatbelt reminder ramps up the chime to ear damage levels if unhooked for more than a few seconds.I have 2 of toyotas hybrids the rav made in canada and my corolla in japan,I think the quality is better when made in japan,jmo

I bought the 24 SR5 4WD and while I like it, I definitely feel like I overpaid. $45k should get me a truck with a lot more features. No heated/cooled seats, not a hybrid, and nothing that really blows my hair back. I like the truck but I overpaid. I have some serious buyers remorse.

Super helpful! We've had ours just over 5 weeks. We had 7 people in our car & a full cargo when we went to the lake. We didn't notice the extra weight at all when driving. The 6 gears in the sport mode are helpful when trying to keep the RPMs down when accelerating. So it's not as loud of an engine while in the sport mode during acceleration.

From what I have seen, it full size on the outside and mid size inside. I didn't see any tow hooks. Locker only works in 4 LO(dumb).

I wish Toyota would of kept the 5.7 V8 and paired it with the ten speed automatic. I bet ut would get better or similar mileage ti this hybrid system with less complexity.

One thing I got from this is that it’s not a luxury car. Test drove this a few times it’s an excellent drivers car but a little too boy racer design. I tried the A spec too and it’s plenty fast a better daily and a lot cheaper even with a cvt

it just a 3 row luxury family school bus , do like the solid rear axle , shorter wheelbase and grille over the tundra , 8:13 3rd row seat takes up to much cargo space when folded down

It's amazing b/c I still remember a review you did of the previous Tundra and it was very high quality. One reason it's nice to buy something that's been out for awhile. Do you get the latest? No, but you get something easy to live with.

I really want to like this car but it has a terrible powertrain imo. Taos is much better with 186 torque at 1750 rpm and automatic or dsg transmission

I'm struggling to decide between EcoBoost w/AWD, and hybrid. 95% of the time I'm on dry pavement and want the exceptional gas mileage, but for that remaining 5%...when you want AWD/4WD you _really_ want it. I may be able to rationalize the EcoBoost by recognizing that it still gets a couple more MPG than my current sedan. Not bad at all.

I like mine, drives like a feather, it’s fast and you see and feel the luxury. It also comes alive at night which I love!
